The new generation of PZERO Race TLR is the best performing tire in our portfolio as well as being the first tire with tubeless technology entirely made in Italy in the new factory in Bollate. The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120tpi casing involves the use of a mixed aramid compound that lines the internal layer of the tyre, improving both the smoothness and resistance of the rubber. Result: a less rigid but faster tire. The compound instead maintains the same advanced SmartEVO technology, shared with the other tires in the high-performance PZERO range.

The most advanced racing formulation for road use ever, born from Pirelli's experience in the highest Motorsport competitions and from the specific collaboration with the factory teams of the World Tour. The new SmartEVO Compound uses a mix of three different polymers, each of which it provides performance in a perfect balance of opposing characteristics, such as grip and smoothness. The ternary mixture of polymers with "intelligent" behavior characteristics as the basis of the exceptional properties of the SmartEVO Compound, allows better grip on dry and wet surfaces, while improving rolling resistance. SmartEVO Compound is a high-performance compound intended for local or World Tour racing through to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces require tires that excel in all circumstances. SmartEVO is for exclusive use of the P ZERO™ range.

The most high-performance tubeless-ready road structure in our range involves the use of a layer of aramid-mixed compound that covers the internal layer of the tire, allowing it to remain airtight. This new structure makes the tire more resistant, thanks to the presence of aramid, but at the same time less rigid and faster, due to the greater flexibility of the compound compared to a bead-to-bead fabric. The carcass is then completed with a 120tpi nylon canvas and an anti-puncture layer, also in aramid.
