The Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.40WT Downhill 2-Ply 3C MaxxGrip tire with flexible Downhill bead is especially suitable for competitions on dry/soft terrain. This Wide Trail (WT) version is optimized for rims from 30 to 35 mm wide.
It has been totally redesigned to increase performance when accelerating, cornering or braking. The large side studs make it easier to grip when cornering. Denser grooved tread increases control.
The 2-Ply carcass is lined and reinforced with a butyl insert that improves protection and increases stiffness on the sidewalls. 3C MaxxGrip rubber compound increases grip without the negative effects of rebound.
