Met Parachute MCR is our full-face convertible Mountain Bike helmet for Enduro, Trail and E-MTB. Equipped with the MIPS-C2® protection system and ASTM 1952-15/2032-15 certified, Parachute MCR offers the highest level of rotational and linear impact protection. It is designed to truly be two helmets in one. Used as full-face, it is characterized by an innovative and aggressive style that provides full protection; in the open version it reflects the design and volume of our trail helmets.

Parachute MCR has a magnetic attachment and release system for the chin guard, which allows for simple, instant and safe conversion. MCR is the acronym for Magnetic Chinbar Release, a revolutionary system conceived by Met and developed with the support of FIDLOCK®.

The visor is adjustable in two positions ensuring full compatibility with sunglasses and masks, and is also made of a flexible plastic material which, in the event of an impact, limits the transfer of torsional forces to the neck.

The fit can be customized thanks to the two paddings of different thicknesses present in the box and the BOA-FS1® system, characterized by a micrometric adjustment of great precision and adaptability.

The 360° ring that wraps around the perimeter of the head does not generate pressure points, optimizing comfort and stability.

The FIDLOCK® magnetic closure makes attaching the helmet quick and easy.

The MIPS-C2® system separates the head from the helmet using a thin low-friction shell called LFL - Low Friction Layer. The shell is attached to the helmet via elastomers and in the event of an impact it allows a slide of 10-15mm in all directions, redirecting the rotational energy of the impact which is harmful to the brain.

Parachute MCR exceeds the stringent deflection limit imposed by ASTM by more than 40%. ASTM certification is the only standard that tests chin guard safety. The chin guard is engineered to obtain the optimal balance of rigidity and elasticity in the event of an impact.

All Met helmets are famous for their ventilation. The 21 vents work in synergy with the large chin guard slots, facilitating breathing and ventilation at high and low speeds.
